A brush fire in South Miami-Dade, which broke out on Tuesday afternoon, March 18, continued to burn on Thursday, March 20. The fire has now burned through 24,000 acres, with 30% of the fire contained. The 18-Mile Stretch of US Highway 1 was closed again on Thursday morning for the third day in a row.
